Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mario Braun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and M J Shain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shain has chosen Thunderstruck as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shain lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Braun backs up against the cage.
Braun tries to clinch up.

and Shain counters with a thumping low kick.
Shain scores with a nice right hand.
Shain throws a sloppy head kick and Braun moves out of range easily.
No joy there for Shain, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shain tries to bum rush Braun with a series of wild strikes but Braun uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Shain throws a good cross that connects.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Braun swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Shain misses with a hook. Braun ducked under it nicely.

Braun changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shain tries to avoid it but Braun manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shain to the ground. Shain escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Shain scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Braun doesn't seem bothered though.

Braun tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shain paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Shain connects with a good right hand that stumbles Braun. Braun circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Shain leaves Braun with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Braun.
Donk. Shain catches Braun right on the button with a cross.

Braun goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Braun shoots for a double leg takedown but Shain sprawls well. He's pushed Braun's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Braun. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shain comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Braun dives in and grabs Shain's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shain pushes down on Braun's head and hops out.

Braun has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Braun there as he acknowledges the shot.

Braun is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Shain Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Braun is out cold, face down on the mat!
