The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hamer forces Instinct back against the cage and clinches.
Hamer tries to break the clinch but Instinct is controlling the position.

Instinct postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hamer is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Instinct, into his guard.
Hamer is in close to Instinct's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hamer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Instinct working for submissions but it's allowed Hamer to get to half guard.

Instinct wants to improve his position but Hamer is controlling well.

Hamer decides to take the fight back to the feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hamer goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Hamer scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Hamer moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Instinct.

Hamer is working to tighten is grip on Instinct's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Instinct has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hamer is really squeezing tight and eventually Instinct passes out! Hamer breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
