Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danny Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Farmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Green comes to the cage accompanied by Hall of Fame. Danny Green could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Trey Farmer's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Danny Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Trey Farmer!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farmer tries to clinch there but Green circles away.
Green misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Green shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Green fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Farmer, pushing him back against the cage.
Green is trying to drag Farmer to the mat but Farmer just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Green. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Farmer gets underhooks to prevent Green's takedown attempt.
Green drops down looking for an ankle pick but Farmer pulls his leg out and moves away.

Farmer drives through with a takedown into Green's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Green wants to control the position but Farmer says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Farmer works his foot free and advances to mount.
Green tries to buck Farmer off but he can't manage it.
Farmer cracks Green with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
You get the feeling that Green really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Green has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Farmer lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Can Green hold on?! Farmer is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Farmer punishes Green with strikes from the back mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Farmer is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Green with him. Green is trying to defend but Farmer has an arm under the chin now! Green grimaces and is forced to tap out!
