Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barby Girl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Percy Poe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Girl kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is You're my heart, You're me soul. Percy Poe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Girl takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Girl is pressing down on Poe's thigh, looking to free his foot. Poe is holding on for now.

Girl decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Poe shoots in but Girl avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Poe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Girl can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Poe has his foot on Girl's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Girl works his way back into a safe position though.

Poe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Girl tries to avoid it but Poe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Girl to the ground. Girl escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Horrible takedown by Poe or perhaps it was just good defense by Girl which made him look bad.

Girl got a little sloppy there for a moment and Poe has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Girl has managed to get both his arms back between Poe's legs - danger averted.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Girl gets caught napping as Poe dives in and scores a takedown. Girl manages to retain guard.

Poe drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Girl manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Poe has Girl in his guard.
Poe takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Poe is working an open guard so Girl takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
