Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels gets caught flat footed, as Damoulakis shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Damoulakis looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Michaels keeping moving, preventing Damoulakis from controlling successfully.
Damoulakis is standing up over Michaels. Michaels looks to escape but Damoulakis dives into side control.
Michaels is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Damoulakis works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Damoulakis has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Michaels forces Damoulakis back against the cage and clinches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Michaels connects with a nasty looking knee right to Damoulakis's face.

Damoulakis pulls guard effortlessly.
Michaels wants to get up but he can't break Damoulakis's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Damoulakis kicks Michaels off and gets to his feet.

Damoulakis seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Michaels has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Damoulakis to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Michaels is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Damoulakis pulls down on the head and he's put Michaels to sleep! This one is all over!
