Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Vronsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Bueno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Vronsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pedro Bueno!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vronsky takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Bueno takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bueno tries to bum rush Vronsky with a series of wild strikes but Vronsky uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Vronsky moves out of range as Bueno strikes.
Vronsky throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bueno.
Vronsky avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vronsky. Bueno does a little dance to reset his feet.
A left lands for Bueno.
Bueno throws a shot from downtown. Vronsky moves away and avoids it.
Vronsky bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bueno throws a right and a left that both miss.
Vronsky moves away from the strike by Bueno.
Vronsky is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bueno sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Vronsky is looking to advance position but Bueno won't allow it.
Vronsky wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bueno keeps working.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bueno wants to improve his position but Vronsky is controlling well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bueno is trying to maintain the position but Vronsky is very close to passing his half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Michael Vronsky will probably get the nod.

Bueno lands with a left to the head.
Bueno tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Bueno looks to land a left hand but Vronsky moved out of range nicely.

Vronsky uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bueno.
Bueno throws an overhand right that lands on Vronsky's shoulder, as Vronsky tries to avoid the shot.
Vronsky throws a hook but Bueno blocks it.
Bueno's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Bueno duly obliges.

Vronsky shoots for a takedown but Bueno saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Vronsky counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Bueno paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

The fighters circling - Bueno throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pedro Bueno showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Vronsky displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bueno throws out the jab.

Bueno has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Vronsky is working away from the top position though.

Bueno tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Vronsky wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Vronsky swings around for an armbar but Bueno sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Vronsky's guard.
Vronsky bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bueno's guard.
Bueno wants to sweep here but Vronsky controlling him for the moment.

Vronsky seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bueno is looking to clinch but Vronsky is avoiding it.

Bueno throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Vronsky drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Vronsky is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Vronsky wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bueno keeps working.

Bueno is trying to control Vronsky's posture but Vronsky avoids it.
Bueno is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Vronsky is staying active.
Vronsky lands a nice forearm strike.
Vronsky tries to move to mount but Bueno blocks the move with his legs.
Bueno is looking for a sweep.
Bueno is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Vronsky's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Bueno wants to control but Vronsky is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Bueno is refusing to be controlled, as Vronsky sits in half guard.
Bueno is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Vronsky's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Vronsky's back!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Bueno's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Even with his hooks in, Bueno manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Vronsky manages to reverse the position and now he's in Bueno's guard. Nice work there by Vronsky.
Bueno looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vronsky is one step ahead there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bueno is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Michael Vronsky.
I think Vronsky has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Michael Vronsky decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
