Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Smith's choice of entrance music: Shoot to Thrill. Don King has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mason Smith!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Kavanagh and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith walks into a jab.
King misses with the combination.
King scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Mason Smith has been cut.
King lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smith circles away quickly and effectively.
Smith is trying hard to land a takedown here. King sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Smith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around King's waist but King gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smith off to one side.
Smith gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Smith tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but King is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Smith buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Smith!! Smith is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. King throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Don King!
