Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexi Takala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gilgamesh Prado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prado has chosen Damian Marley - Welcome to Jamrock as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alexi Takala!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gilgamesh Prado!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prado lands a two punch combo.
Prado tries to close the distance and clinch but Takala swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Takala ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Prado scores with a three punch combo!
A punch combination from Takala misses.

Takala throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Prado tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Takala is in Prado's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Prado pushes Takala off and gets back to his feet.
Takala misses with a few strikes there.
Takala will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Prado looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Takala throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Prado.
Prado tries to close the distance and clinch but Takala swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Takala is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Takala misses with a double jab.
Takala throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Prado counters with a left and a right that stings Takala.
Prado throws a series of punches but Takala avoids them all with ease.
Prado avoids a punch combination nicely.

Some wild striking there from Takala.
Takala lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
No joy there for Prado, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Prado is defended easily by Takala.

Takala throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Prado fails with an attempt to clinch.
Takala throws a right and a left that Prado avoids nicely.
Prado has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Good work by Prado as he checks the leg kick.
Takala throws a leg kick but Prado moved away.
Prado tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Prado fails in his attempt to clinch.
Prado rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Takala moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Takala scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Takala throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Takala moves out of range of the body kick.
Prado closes the distance looking to clinch
and Takala counters with a head kick.
Prado uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Takala.
Takala misses with a series of wild punches.
Prado bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Prado misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Prado throws a wild body kick that Takala sees coming a mile off.
Takala shoots in looking for a takedown. Prado tries to sprawl out of it but Takala keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Prado manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Takala counters with a nice low kick that buckles Prado's knee momentarily.
Alexi Takala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gilgamesh Prado.

Prado looks for the body kick but Takala saw that one coming.
Takala throws a nice looking combination but Prado bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A head kick misses from Prado.

Takala looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Prado!
Takala looking to control and managing it successfully.
Takala trying to control but Prado is having none of it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Prado keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Takala throws a nice looking combination but Prado bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gilgamesh Prado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Prado has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Prado throws a right hand that Takala ducks under and follows up with a left that Takala also avoids with ease.
Takala moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Takala misses with a series of wild punches.
Prado scores with a hook to the body. Takala takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Prado looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Takala looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Takala manages to get to full guard.

Takala wants to hit a switch here but Prado passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Takala there!
Takala regains half guard.
Prado is thwarting Takala's attempts to control the position.

Takala is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Prado pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Takala is staying active underneath Prado, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Takala is looking for a sweep. Prado is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Takala works his way to full guard. Good work.
Prado is pushing down on Takala's leg trying to pass to half guard. Takala is fighting to maintain full guard but Prado has managed to sneak the leg through.
The fighters are battling for position here. Takala manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Takala is controlling Prado's posture.

Takala looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Takala has momentary wrist control but Prado slips an elbow through the middle.
Takala trying to keep a closed guard but Prado is proving a slippery customer.

Takala is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Prado is aware though and is defending well.

Takala looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Prado passes into half guard.
Takala is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Alexi Takala overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Takala regains full guard. Nicely done.

Takala working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Prado doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Prado manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Takala tries to land a sweep but no joy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Prado throws an elbow that misses. Takala uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Prado's guard. Nice move by Takala!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Takala's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Prado misses with a few strikes there.
Prado shoots in for a double leg but Takala sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Takala, right into the meat.

Takala is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Prado's half guard.

Prado is staying active underneath Takala, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Takala is pressing down on Prado's thigh, looking to free his foot. Prado is holding on for now.
Takala is stalling here. Prado is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Takala seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Prado has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Takala is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Prado is controlling him well.

Takala is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Prado off and has taken his back!
Prado takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Prado defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Takala's arms.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prado controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Takala is persistently looking for the submission but Prado is defending it well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Takala working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Takala is trying to stick to Prado's back but Prado is turning into Takala. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Takala's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Prado.
Takala looking for a sweep. Not yet Takala, not yet.

Takala has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Prado should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Takala has tightened it up now! Prado should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
