The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernan thumps Borromeo with a low kick.
Borromeo sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Borromeo tries to clinch up but Fernan circles away and keeps his distance.
Fernan walks into a straight right hand from Borromeo.
Fernan keeps the fight on the outside.
Fernan scores with a kick to the body.
Fernan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Borromeo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fernan.
Fernan just misses with a punch to the body.

Borromeo pivots, looking for a leg kick but Fernan is out of range and Borromeo settles back down.

It looks like Paolo Borromeo has been cut.
Fernan scores with a head kick. Borromeo tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Borromeo walks forward, straight into a front kick from Fernan.
Borromeo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Fernan goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Fernan lands a nice looking kick to the body. Borromeo takes a step back to recover.

Borromeo takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Borromeo has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Fernan.

Borromeo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Fernan! Borromeo is out on his feet! Fernan rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Borromeo is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Borromeo is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
