The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Asas tries to keep at a distance but Winterbottom has taken the fight into the clinch.

Asas misses with the head strike.
Asas has a couple of punches blocked by Winterbottom.
A head punch on the inside from Asas fails to land.
Asas tries a body shot but Winterbottom blocks it.
Asas's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Asas misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Winterbottom.
Asas jumps guard but Winterbottom stands there with Asas around his waist. Asas gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Winterbottom blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Asas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Winterbottom walks away with a smile on his face. Asas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Asas tries to clinch but Winterbottom moves out of range.
Asas takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Winterbottom counters with a takedown into side control.
Asas wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Asas takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Winterbottom looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Asas strikes from the bottom but Winterbottom takes advantage and advances to full mount!

Winterbottom tries to control but Asas wriggling away.

Asas is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Winterbottom softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Asas is out cold! Winterbottom jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
