Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ray Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Kerensky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Punch might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Get Knocked Out. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Ray Punch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Alexander Kerensky!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punch throws a hook to the side of Kerensky's head but Kerensky sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Punch misses the shot to the body.
Kerensky throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Punch.
Kerensky showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Punch.
Punch keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Punch throws a big shot that misses.
Punch slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Punch blocks a jab.

Punch darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Kerensky is staying active underneath Punch, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Punch is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kerensky sees it coming and defends easily.
Kerensky is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Punch looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kerensky with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Punch sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Punch throws a strike but Kerensky rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Punch pushes Kerensky off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Punch moves out of range of the strikes.
Kerensky misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Punch swings for the body but Kerensky moves out of range.
Punch fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kerensky is out of range.
Punch looks to land a left hand but Kerensky moved out of range nicely.

Punch takes a swing at Kerensky's ribcage but misses.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kerensky tries to bum rush Punch with a series of wild strikes but Punch uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Punch shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kerensky but Kerensky pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Kerensky throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ray Punch will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Kerensky is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well Punch has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
