PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lincoln Burrows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Razor Ramon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Burrows might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sweet Child 'O Mine. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Burrows tries to avoid it but Ramon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Burrows to the ground. Burrows escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Burrows throws a leg kick but Ramon sees it coming and moves out of range.
Burrows fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Burrows throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ramon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Ramon gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Razor Ramon has been cut.
Burrows stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Ramon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Burrows has cracked Ramon with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Burrows lands another huge swinging hook and Ramon tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Ramon, before Burrows can land any more shots!
