The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Fierro lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kvasov doesn't seem phased though.
Fierro throws a combination that misses
and Kvasov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Jonnie Fierro has been cut.
Fierro takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kvasov misses with a two punch combination.
Fierro throws an off balance right hand
and Kvasov counters with a nice right hand that sends Fierro toppling to the canvas! Fierro scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Kvasov finish him?!

and Kvasov counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fierro thinking.

and Kvasov counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Fierro out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Kvasov is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Roman Kvasov!
