Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Gardner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Mayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mayer has chosen I´m shipping out to Boston - Dropkick Murphys as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Gardner fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mayer has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Mayer's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
