Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lil Cholo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mardy Bum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cholo's entrance music is Compton City G's. A fine choice. Lil Cholo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lil Cholo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mardy Bum!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cholo stalks Bum and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bum's face. Bum staggers backwards, shaken.
Cholo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cholo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cholo throws a right hand that Bum ducks under and follows up with a left that Bum also avoids with ease.
Cholo scores with a three punch combo!
Cholo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bum slips a jab and a cross from Cholo.
Cholo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
No joy there for Cholo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Cholo's corner calls for a 1-2. Cholo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Bum drives through and clinches with Cholo against the cage.

Bum decides to pull guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cholo wanted to stand there but Bum had control of the position.

Cholo is looking to stand up but Bum won't let him.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mardy Bum hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Cholo throws a series of punches but Bum avoids them all with ease.

Bum shoots in and bounces Cholo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Bum looking to sit in guard and control but Cholo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Bum kicks Cholo off and gets to his feet.
Cholo looks to land a combination. Bum sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Lil Cholo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cholo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cholo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Bum throws a sloppy head kick and Cholo moves out of range easily.

Bum clinches with his opponent.
Bum is trying to pull guard but Cholo turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Bum drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bum looks gassed!

Bum has Cholo pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Bum pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Cholo tumbling to the mat - Bum dives into Cholo's guard.

Bum stands up and waves to Cholo to follow him.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bum throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cholo's waist but Cholo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bum off to one side.
Lil Cholo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mardy Bum.
Bum dodges the punch combination from Cholo.
Cholo feints a jab promting Bum to slip. Cholo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bum slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Bum throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cholo's waist but Cholo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bum off to one side.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cholo dips to his left and cracks Bum with an uppercut!

Bum is rocked!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cholo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bum is still on wobbly legs! Can Cholo finish him?

Bum darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bum stops Cholo from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Lil Cholo will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mardy Bum wasn't active enough on the ground.

Bum looking to score a takedown here. Cholo is defending well but Bum drives through and ends up in Cholo's guard.

Bum stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Cholo has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Bum manages to get his head free but now Cholo has transitioned to an armbar! Bum grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Cholo! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
