The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mignone enables Sailo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mignone manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Sailo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mignone manages to avoid it.
Mignone throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sailo.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Omtea Sailo.
