Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Okereke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Glenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonny Okereke had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Jonny Okereke has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glenn shoots for a double leg takedown but Okereke sprawls well. He's pushed Glenn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Okereke looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Okereke wants to clinch up but Glenn keeps it at a distance.

Okereke drives through and clinches with Glenn against the cage.

Okereke breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Glenn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Okereke's waist but Okereke gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Glenn off to one side.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Okereke misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Glenn.
Okereke is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Glenn is defending well for now.
Okereke pushes off an throws an elbow but Glenn leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Glenn tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Okereke just stands there and leans against the cage.

Okereke tries to close the distance and clinch but Glenn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Glenn shoots in looking for a takedown but Okereke manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Glenn's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Glenn is working for takedown but Okereke is calmly controlling the position for now.

Glenn drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Okereke gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Glenn jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Okereke walks away with a smile on his face. Glenn gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Glenn counters with a single leg into guard. Okereke didn't expect that.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
