Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Giorgio Chiellini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Faragher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chiellini kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Riders on the strorm. Billy Faragher has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faragher misses the jab.

Horrible takedown by Chiellini or perhaps it was just good defense by Faragher which made him look bad.
Chiellini takes a swing at Faragher's ribcage but misses.

Faragher working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Faragher connects with a nice short shot to Chiellini's temple.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Faragher lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Chiellini is trying to break the clinch but Faragher has him pressed against the cage.
Faragher has picked Chiellini up - he's going for a ride! Faragher dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Chiellini throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Faragher looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Chiellini is looking for a sweep. Faragher is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Faragher is working for a kimura but Chiellini is defending it quite comfortably.
Faragher looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chiellini with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Chiellini is trying to control but Faragher manages to pass to mount!

Faragher postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Chiellini looks a forlorn figure.

Oh Chiellini is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Faragher lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Chiellini! Faragher sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Chiellini and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
