Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad Tepes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tepes has chosen uncle otis- the game as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carl Burns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
20 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vlad Tepes!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tepes misses with a head kick.
Tepes scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Carl Burns has been cut.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tepes, right into the meat.
Burns walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Tepes checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Burns does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Burns keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tepes staying out of range there.
Burns needs to keep his hands up - Tepes had a free shot at his head there.
Burns changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tepes tries to avoid it but Burns manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tepes to the ground. Tepes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A jab from Burns misses.
Burns ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Tepes throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Burns on the side of the head.
Tepes throws a head kick but Burns moves out of range.
Burns throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Tepes throws a nice inside leg kick.
Tepes lands a leg kick that knocks Burns off balance momentarily.
Burns is breathing heavily.
Tepes throws a series of punches but Burns moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Burns shoots for a double leg takedown but Tepes sprawls well. He's pushed Burns's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Burns chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tepes can pounce on him.
Burns takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Tepes lands a nice looking body shot.
Tepes works the jab nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tepes digs a good body shot into Burns's ribs.
Burns walks into a jab.
Burns tries to land a leg kick but Tepes saw it coming and moves away.
Tepes cracks Burns with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Tepes lands a big head kick that sends Burns tumbling to the mat! Tepes takes a step backwards and waves Burns back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Burns is rocked!
Carl Burns's cut is getting worse.
Tepes lands a nice leg kick that just misses Burns's sensitive parts.
Tepes lands a brutal uppercut that launches Burns off his feet! Burns tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vlad Tepes!
Vlad Tepes took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
