Yamamoto has chosen Ambitionz az a ridah as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Captain Beefheart!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Go Yamamoto!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beefheart takes a swing at Yamamoto's ribcage but misses.
Yamamoto swings for the body but Beefheart moves out of range.
Yamamoto takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A solid leg kick lands there for Yamamoto.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Yamamoto.
Yamamoto jabs at Beefheart's body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oooooh!!! Yamamoto has knocked Beefheart down with a huge combo! Yamamoto steps away and waves a wobbly Beefheart back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


It looks like Captain Beefheart has been cut.
A shot to the liver by Yamamoto. Beautiful body shot.
Captain Beefheart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beefheart is breathing heavily.
Yamamoto throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Beefheart on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Beefheart looks up at the clock. Bad move! Yamamoto lands a right hand from hell, dropping Beefheart. Yamamoto pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Go Yamamoto!
Go Yamamoto is the new light heavyweight champion!
Go Yamamoto gave a mention to Conviction in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
