Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luis Chalas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Humphrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Luis Chalas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Brian Humphrey!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Humphrey takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Humphrey throws a series of punches but Chalas avoids them all with ease.
Humphrey thows a body shot but no joy.
Humphrey misses with a combination
and Chalas counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Chalas thows a left - swing and a miss!
Humphrey fails with the takedown.
Humphrey looks to land a combination but Chalas avoids it well.
Humphrey doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Chalas counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Chalas clobbers Humphrey with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Humphrey is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Humphrey has closed the distance and engaged Chalas in a clinch.

Humphrey tightens his grip and picks Chalas up, before dumping him to the ground. Chalas manages to land in guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Humphrey stands and steps away. Chalas gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Humphrey moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Humphrey fails with the takedown.
Luis Chalas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Humphrey.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Humphrey is defended easily by Chalas.

Humphrey closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Chalas quickly recovers to half guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Humphrey thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chalas's head.

Chalas looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Humphrey is taking a breather. Chalas says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Chalas gets full guard.

Chalas has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Humphrey is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Chalas.
Chalas is breathing heavily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Humphrey tries to pass the half guard into mount. Chalas knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

A close second round but Brian Humphrey will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Chalas keeps the fight on the outside.
Humphrey shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chalas pinned against the cage. Chalas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Humphrey shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Chalas manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Humphrey wants to free his trapped foot but Chalas is holding on for dear life with his legs.

I would just about give that final round to Brian Humphrey.
I've got Humphrey winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
