PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Barack Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustavo Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bush throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Santos's waist but Santos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bush off to one side.

Santos slips a jab and a cross from Bush.
Bush clobbers Santos with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bush will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bush really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That was a close second round but I would say that Barack Bush will probably get the nod.

Santos is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Bush is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Bush flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Santos anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Bush and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Santos slips an arm under Bush chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Santos has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Santos is squeezing on Bush like an anaconda would it's prey. Bush fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
