Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellis comes to the cage accompanied by Avril Lavigne - Hot. Silva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dirty Hous'. Anthony Ellis looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva thows a leg kick but Ellis checks it
enabling Ellis to counter with a crisp jab.
Silva lands the left hand.
Silva throws a leg kick that is checked
and Ellis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ellis scores with a punch to the head.
Silva is looking to slow Ellis down with leg kicks.

Silva moves into the clinch.
Ellis takes a knee to the side of the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva lands an elbow inside.
Ellis throws a head punch that misses.

Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Silva lands the left hand.
Ellis on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Silva. Silva obviously looking to wear him down.
Ellis is breathing heavily.
Silva plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Silva jabs Ellis right on the nose. Ellis blinks but takes it well.
Mauricio Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Silva on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Silva feints and then cracks Ellis's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ellis down.
Ellis throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Silva sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Silva lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ellis's sensitive parts.
Silva tried to score with a low kick but Ellis checks it.
Silva throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Silva lands a right hook to the body.

Ellis steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Silva. That one must have hurt.
Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Silva lands a nice looking kick to the body. Ellis takes a step back to recover.
Silva lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ellis's sensitive parts.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ellis takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Silva rushes Ellis and presses him up against the cage.
Silva lands an elbow inside that Ellis shrugs off.
Silva lands a nice knee to the body.
Silva throws an elbow but it misses.
Ellis avoiding damage as Silva throws knees to the body.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Silva.
Silva connects with a knee to the head.
Ellis blocks the elbow strike.
Silva lands a damaging elbow.

Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Silva connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Silva lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
A solid leg kick lands there for Silva.
Silva fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ellis has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Silva closes the distance and clinches.

Silva lands a hook that snaps the head of Ellis backwards.
Silva lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ellis backwards.

Silva breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Both fighters circling a little - Silva finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Silva tries to clinch there but Ellis circles away.
Good leg kick by Silva there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Silva!
Silva lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Silva throws a head kick that Ellis semi-blocks.

Ellis is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Ellis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Silva - that will leave a mark!
Silva drops Ellis with a straight right hand, right on the button! Silva follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
