The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Shimizu. No joy for Delta on that attempt.
Shimizu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Shimizu wants it to stay on the feet.
Delta shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shimizu as he avoids it easily.
Kazuyuki Shimizu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Duece Delta.
Delta shoots in for a double leg but Shimizu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Shimizu lands a slapping body shot.
Shimizu dips to his left and cracks Delta with an uppercut!

It looks like Duece Delta has been cut.

Shimizu fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Delta to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Delta looks to clinch but Shimizu throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Delta taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
