Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Ataxia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnold Wernicki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Ataxia. Wernicki does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ataxia slaps away a takedown attempt from Wernicki, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Wernicki fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ataxia avoids it really well and circles away.

Wernicki shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ataxia sprawls well. Ataxia wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wernicki gets slowly back to his feet.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ataxia, as that shot connected.

Wernicki ducks under a wild hook from Ataxia.

Wernicki on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Ataxia swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ataxia throws a hook to the side of Wernicki's head but Wernicki sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Wernicki takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Wernicki shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ataxia's guard.

Wernicki has gone for a leg lock! Ataxia slips out almost immediately though and dives into Wernicki's guard.

Ataxia is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Wernicki has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ataxia is looking to defend but Wernicki has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ataxia! Wernicki pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ataxia taps out and this one is all over!
