The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Che Che looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
It looks like Boozella Che Che has been cut.
Che Che ducks right into an uppercut from Fairtex.
Fairtex misses with a double jab.
Che Che throws a body punch but Fairtex moves out of range.

Che Che takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Che Che is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Fairtex has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Fairtex!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fairtex lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Che Che circles away quickly and effectively.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jongsanan Fairtex.
