Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Noel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anupo Anubis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noel comes to the cage accompanied by Rob S. - Forever Yong. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Anupo Anubis was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Noel scores a takedown into full mount!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Noel prevents Anubis from getting the reversal.
Noel is trying to control here but Anubis has managed to regain half guard.
Noel is looking to stall here but Anubis recovers full guard.
Noel's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Noel is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Anubis is aware though and is defending well.

Noel manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Anubis manages to get himself to full guard.

Noel can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Anubis is looking to escape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Anubis gets back to half guard.
Anubis has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Noel is working away from the top position though.
Noel tries to pass the half guard into mount. Anubis knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Noel moves into full mount! Anubis won't be happy about that!
Noel is trying to take his opponent's back.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ryan Noel dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Anubis keeps the fight on the outside.
Noel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Anubis moves away.

Noel tries to sprawl but Anubis drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Anubis maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Noel could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Anubis has cracked it and Noel is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Anubis!

A determined Anupo Anubis didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
