Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Ronald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Zielinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve Zielinski will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chris Ronald!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Steve Zielinski!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zielinski stuffs the takedown attempt from Ronald. Ronald gets slowly back to his feet.
Zielinski looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Ronald moves out of range of the strikes.
Ronald takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Ronald closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Zielinski did well to prevent Ronald getting side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Ronald uses his free foot to push down on Zielinski's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Zielinski.

Ronald shoots in and bounces Zielinski off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Ronald seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Ronald shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zielinski but Zielinski pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Ronald misses with a takedown attempt - Zielinski sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ronald tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Zielinski swivels and escapes.
Zielinski leaves Ronald with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Ronald is trying hard to land a takedown here. Zielinski sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ronald shoots for a takedown but Zielinski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Zielinski is looking to break free of the clinch but Ronald has double underhooks.

Ronald tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Zielinski smiles and moves away.

Zielinski tries to circle away but Ronald has him pinned against the cage.
Ronald jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Zielinski walks away with a smile on his face. Ronald gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Zielinski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zielinski wants it to stay on the feet.
Zielinski misses with a wild combination.
Ronald dives in and grabs Zielinski's left leg, looking for a takedown. Zielinski pushes down on Ronald's head and hops out.
Steve Zielinski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ronald controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Ronald seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ronald in particular looking to stall.
