The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alfonso shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Alfonso throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ashe counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Alfonso lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Ashe wants to clinch.

Alfonso takes the fight into the clinch.
Alfonso managing to block the knees to the body from Ashe.
Alfonso is trying to pull guard but Ashe turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Ashe gets underhooks to prevent Alfonso's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimmy Alfonso. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ashe misses with a knee strike.
Alfonso jumps guard but Ashe stands there with Alfonso around his waist. Alfonso gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Alfonso tightens his grip and picks Ashe up, before dumping him to the ground. Ashe manages to land in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
