Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alan Wren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Srna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alan Wren!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Daniel Srna!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Srna moves into range and clinches up with Wren.

Srna breaks from the clinch.

Wren is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A combination from Wren does no damage.
Srna takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Alan Wren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Srna tries to clinch up but Wren circles away and keeps his distance.
Srna lands with a thumping leg kick.

Srna has closed the distance and engaged Wren in a clinch.
Srna tries to land knees in the clinch but Wren avoids the damage to the body.
Srna looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Srna gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Wren tries for a takedown. No joy.

Wren shoots in looking for a takedown. Srna tries to sprawl out of it but Wren keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Srna manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Wren shoots in but Srna avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Wren thuds his right hand into Srna's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Srna tries to close the distance and clinch but Wren swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wren lands the left hand.
Wren shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Srna as he avoids it easily.
Wren lands a body shot.
No joy there for Wren, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wren misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wren stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Srna doesn't manage to clinch there - Wren circles away.

Srna pushes Wren up against the cage in a clinch.

Srna escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Srna forces Wren back against the cage and clinches.
Srna landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Still in the clinch, Srna scores with a nice short uppercut.

Wren lands a hook that snaps the head of Srna backwards.
Srna misses with a knee to the head.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Wren pulls guard successfully.

Wren is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Srna rolls with it to try and escape but Wren cranks on the arm and Srna is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
