Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joe Rafinan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rio Bignog!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rafinan lands a right hook to the body.
Bignog looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Rafinan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Some wild striking there from Bignog.
Rafinan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rafinan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A head kick misses from Rafinan.
Rafinan connects with a nice looking jab.
A punch lands to the side of Bignog 's head but he takes it in his stride.


It looks like Rio Bignog has been cut.
Bignog is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rafinan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bignog stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rio Bignog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rafinan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Oooooh!!! Rafinan has knocked Bignog down with a huge combo! Rafinan steps away and waves a wobbly Bignog back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Bignog is rocked!
Rafinan lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Bignog crumples to the floor! Rafinan milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Joe Rafinan!
Joe Rafinan opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
