The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warner connects with the punch.
Warner throws a jab when Stara was well out of range.
Stara misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Warner chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Stara can pounce on him.
Warner doesn't manage to clinch there - Stara circles away.
Warner throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Stara on the side of the head.
Warner attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Warner stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stara.
Stara keeps the fight on the outside.
Stara tries to score with a low kick but Warner moves his leg out of the way.
Warner uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Warner avoids the head kick by Stara.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Stara gets the takedown into side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Stara is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Warner is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Stara wants to control but Warner is keeping him busy.

Stara tries to advance to mount but can't.
Warner is looking for a sweep.

Stara tries for a kimura but Warner is defending well.

Stara has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Warner is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Stara yanks on the arm and Warner is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Stara.
