The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fox swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fox shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has DeBlunt pinned against the cage. DeBlunt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

DeBlunt stuns Fox with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Fox throws a big shot that misses.
DeBlunt bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

DeBlunt thows a body shot but no joy.
DeBlunt tries to keep at a distance but Fox has taken the fight into the clinch.
Fox misses with some punches.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Fox is trying to pull guard but DeBlunt turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
DeBlunt is trying to push Fox away but Fox has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Fox throws an elbow but it misses.
DeBlunt dodges an elbow strike from Fox.
Fox lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Phil DeBlunt has been cut.

DeBlunt has had enough of the clinch but Fox keeps him there for the moment.
DeBlunt is trying to force a seperation but Fox has the dominant position.

Paddy Fox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
DeBlunt bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fox's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
