The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Faber clinches up with Rasputin and pushes him back against the cage.
Rasputin scores with a hook to the body.
Rasputin lands an elbow just above Faber 's eye.

It looks like Jonah Faber has been cut.
Faber wants to take the fight to the mat but Rasputin manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Faber tries to pull guard but Rasputin holds him up against the cage and eventually Faber drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonah Faber. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Faber is breathing heavily.
Rasputin lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Rasputin gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Faber regains guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A big strike lands for Rasputin! That's really hurt Faber and he's turned his back - Rasputin keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Rasputin jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
