Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Zhukov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zemli Funtov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhukov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Feuer Frei. Ivan Zhukov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Zhukov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zemli Funtov!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhukov looks to land a combination. Funtov sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Funtov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zhukov but Zhukov pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Funtov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zhukov tries to avoid it but Funtov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zhukov to the ground. Zhukov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Funtov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Funtov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Zhukov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Zhukov tries to get out of the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Funtov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Funtov is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Funtov is looking to work some ground and pound but Zhukov has wrist control.
Funtov controls from within his opponent's guard.
Zhukov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Funtov works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

The referee asks Funtov politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Funtov prefers to stall for the moment though.

Funtov cracks Zhukov with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Funtov immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Zhukov is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Funtov!
