Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Blatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miklo Velka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blatt comes to the cage accompanied by you're going down- sick puppies. Velka has chosen Cypress Hill - Insane In The Membrane as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velka tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Velka throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Blatt connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Velka moves into the clinch successfully.
Velka trying to stall but Blatt improves his position.
Velka lands a right hand.
It looks like Jeff Blatt has been cut.
Velka swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Blatt blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Velka connects with a nasty looking knee right to Blatt's face.

Blatt wants to get back to striking at distance but Velka won't allow it.
Blatt avoids the elbow strike from Velka, against the cage.
Blatt tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Velka's elbow.
Blatt throws a head punch that misses.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Blatt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Velka is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Blatt lands a hook that snaps the head of Velka backwards.

Velka dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Blatt goes for a takedown in the clinch but Velka prevents it.
Blatt trying to control the position but instead, Velka has worked for underhooks and has pushed Blatt into the cage.
Blatt is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Velka pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Velka is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Velka throws an elbow but it misses.
Velka creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Blatt's defenses.

Blatt can't get the takedown.

Blatt breaks the clinch.
Velka feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Blatts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Jeff Blatt's cut is getting worse.
Velka scores with a hook to the body. Blatt takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Blatt misses with a body shot.
Velka is looking to slow Blatt down with leg kicks.
Velka lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Velka connects with a high kick.
Blatt stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Velka.
Velka closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Blatt! Velka dives in looking to finish! Blatt is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Miklo Velka!
