Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ken Kei Katsuro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raipe Raikas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Katsuro comes to the ring accompanied by Lil Wayne - Playin With Fire. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Raipe Raikas enters the ring!

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raikas throws a head kick that misses.
Raikas misses with a jab, cross combination.
Raikas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A head kick from Raikas lands but Katsuro takes it in his stride.

Katsuro drives through and clinches with Raikas against the ropes.
Katsuro drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Raikas gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Katsuro prevents Raikas from breaking the clinch.
Raikas gets underhooks to prevent Katsuro's takedown attempt.
Katsuro tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Raikas smiles and moves away.

Katsuro looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Raikas is fending him off so far but Katsuro persists. Nope, Raikas circles away and we're back to standing.
Raikas bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Katsuro's head backwards.

Katsuro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Raikas tries to avoid it but Katsuro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Raikas to the ground. Raikas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Raikas throws a head kick but Katsuro moves out of range.
Raikas misses with a jab, cross combination.
Raikas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Raikas throws a sloppy head kick and Katsuro moves out of range easily.
Katsuro shoots for a takedown but Raikas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Katsuro closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Katsuro lands in his opponent's guard.

Raikas is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Katsuro shoots in looking for a takedown. Raikas tries to sprawl out of it but Katsuro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Raikas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Raikas throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Katsuro.
Raipe Raikas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Raikas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Raikas throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Raikas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Katsuro moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Raikas looks gassed!
Katsuro fails with a takedown attempt.
Raikas fails to land with a series of punches.
Katsuro shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Raikas misses with a two punch combination.
Raikas throws a nice inside leg kick.
Raikas attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Katsuro gets a takedown into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Raipe Raikas will probably get the nod.
That's time! Katsuro's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Nice takedown defense from Raikas. No joy for Katsuro on that attempt.
Katsuro shoots for a double leg takedown but Raikas sprawls well. He's pushed Katsuro's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Raikas throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Raikas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Katsuro takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Raikas pushes Katsuro away with a front kick.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Katsuro accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Katsuro decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

and Katsuro counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Raikas is refusing to be controlled, as Katsuro sits in half guard.

Katsuro is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Raikas is just riding it out for now. Katsuro eventually gives up the hold.

Katsuro is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Raikas has managed to free his arm - good work.

Katsuro is trying to control the action in half guard but Raikas is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Katsuro is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Raikas throws a sloppy head kick

so Katsuro counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Katsuro thows a big elbow that misses.
Raikas wants to stand up but Katsuro is controlling him.
Katsuro tries to stand but Raikas is controlling from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Katsuro takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Katsuro closes the distance and clinches up with Raikas, looking for a takedown. Katsuro pushes Raikas against the ropes but Raikas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Katsuro shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Raikas as he jumps to the side.

and Katsuro counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Raikas!

Katsuro stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Raikas stuffs the takedown attempt from Katsuro. Katsuro gets slowly back to his feet.

Raikas tries to keep at a distance but Katsuro has taken the fight into the clinch.
Katsuro swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Raikas is pressed up against the ropes. Katsuro has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Raikas down to the mat. Raikas avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Katsuro is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Raikas throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
A solid leg kick lands there for Raikas.

Raikas bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Katsuro tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Raikas lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Katsuro closes the distance and clinches up with Raikas, looking for a takedown. Katsuro pushes Raikas against the ropes but Raikas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The fight stays on the outside here - Katsuro looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Katsuro drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Katsuro decides to stand up, so the ref orders Raikas to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ken Kei Katsuro.
I think Katsuro has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
