The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as De La Hoya checks a leg kick.
Mojaus lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Roger De La Hoya has been cut.
Mojaus takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Mojaus is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by De La Hoya.
De La Hoya throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
De La Hoya checks the leg kick nicely there.
Mojaus lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
De La Hoya throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mojaus throws a shot to the body.
Horrible takedown by De La Hoya or perhaps it was just good defense by Mojaus which made him look bad.
Mojaus throws a sloppy head kick and De La Hoya moves out of range easily.
Nice body kick there by Mojaus.
De La Hoya is breathing heavily.
De La Hoya tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Mojaus scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Mojaus and De La Hoya goes tumbling to the canvas! Mojaus follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

De La Hoya is rocked!
Mojaus perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

De La Hoya won't allow Mojaus to pass to mount.
De La Hoya is looking for a sweep. Mojaus is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
De La Hoya wants to control but Mojaus is keeping busy and won't allow it.
De La Hoya is holding on to half guard well.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Aimo Mojaus hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Mojaus throws a powerful right kick. De La Hoya tried to block low but the kick was high! De La Hoya was taken right off of his feet! Mojaus jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
