The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Butt.
Butt misses with a takedown attempt - Ballflag sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Butt drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Ballflag wants to stand and escape but Butt is having none of it.
Ballflag really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Butt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Butt forces his way into half guard.
Ballflag pushes Butt off looking to stand but Butt dives back in and keeps control.

Butt seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ballflag is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
