Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Villar misses.
Villar throws the kick towards the body but Komota avoids it.
Villar is looking to score with low kicks.

Komota feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Villar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Villar wants it to stay on the feet.

Villar closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Komota is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Villar off and has taken his back!

Villar has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Komota is working for a rear naked choke. Villar is not defending it well and Komota has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Villar refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Villar's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
