The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zaromskis has closed the distance and engaged Lee in a clinch.
Lee misses with a hook to the ribs.

Lee is trying to drag Zaromskis to the mat but Zaromskis just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Lee is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Zaromskis is aware though and is defending well.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zaromskis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Zaromskis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lee's guard.

Lee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Gegard Zaromskis dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Lee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Zaromskis misses with a low kick.
Zaromskis doesn't manage to clinch there - Lee circles away.
Zaromskis wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Zaromskis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zaromskis off to one side.

Zaromskis gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Zaromskis is trying to trip Lee. He has hold of a leg but Lee is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Zaromskis persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zaromskis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Zaromskis drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lee looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lee looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lee!

Lee throws a strike aimed at the side of Zaromskis's head but Zaromskis avoids it well.
Zaromskis tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Lee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zaromskis keeps working.
Zaromskis is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
