Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marco Alessandro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Dziku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Damian Dziku was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alessandro closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dziku quickly recovers to half guard.

Alessandro is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dziku is just riding it out for now. Alessandro eventually gives up the hold.
Dziku really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alessandro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Alessandro is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dziku doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Alessandro.
Alessandro is looking to take a break and control but Dziku is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dziku fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Alessandro is out of range.
Dziku lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Alessandro circles away quickly and effectively.
Alessandro closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dziku circles away.

Dziku is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Alessandro is controlling him.
Alessandro is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

We're going to have a standup here because Marco Alessandro wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Alessandro shoots for a double leg takedown but Dziku sprawls well. He's pushed Alessandro's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dziku misses with a head kick.

Dziku clinches up with Alessandro and pushes him back against the cage.

Dziku jumps into guard, dragging Alessandro to the mat.

Alessandro drops back looking for a leg! Dziku is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dziku manages to kick Alessandro off! Alessandro jumps back into Dziku's guard.

Alessandro has gone for a leg lock! Dziku slips out almost immediately though and dives into Alessandro's guard.

Alessandro quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Dziku has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Alessandro celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
