PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brent Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Brock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brock has chosen Balls Deep as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brent Murphy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aaron Brock!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Brock.
Murphy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brock's waist but Brock gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Murphy off to one side.

Murphy has closed the distance and engaged Brock in a clinch.
Murphy wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Brock's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Brock takes one to the chin there.
Brock throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Murphy on the side of the head.

Murphy shoots for a takedown but Brock saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brent Murphy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A nice inside leg kick there by Brock. That's going to slow Murphy down.
Murphy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brock as he jumps to the side.
Aaron Brock is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Murphy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brock tries to avoid it but Murphy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brock to the ground. Brock escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Murphy is breathing heavily.
Murphy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brock as he jumps to the side.
Murphy shoots in looking for a takedown. Brock tries to sprawl out of it but Murphy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brock manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Murphy looks to land a body kick but Brock moved away.
Brock throws a nice inside leg kick.
Murphy stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brock.
Nice uppercut there from Brock.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Murphy takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Brock lands a nice shot to the body.
Brock lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
A solid leg kick lands there for Brock.
Brock scores with a jab to the body.

Brock smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Brock throws a quick inside leg kick.
Brock pounces like a tiger and cracks Murphy with a vicious hook! Murphy is down but not out! Brock follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
