PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between ALtropos Lion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirty Randy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dirty Randy was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Randy gets tackled into the cage by Lion. Lion maintains the clinch.
Randy drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lion lands a knee to the body.
Lion has Randy pressed against the cage, preventing Randy from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Randy tries for a takedown but Lion manages to get underhooks.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

It looks like Dirty Randy has been cut.
Randy misses with some punches.
Randy takes an elbow to the forehead.
A nice left hand lands by Lion.
Come on Lion - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Lion creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Randy's defenses.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Lion seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Randy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That was a close second round but I would say that ALtropos Lion will probably get the nod.
