The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuura shoots for a double leg takedown but Templeton sprawls well. He's pushed Tuura's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Templeton looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Templeton leaves Tuura with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Nick Templeton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juura Tuura.
Tuura dives in and grabs Templeton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Templeton pushes down on Tuura's head and hops out.
Templeton throws a good cross that connects.

It looks like Juura Tuura has been cut.
Templeton lands a right hook to the body.
Tuura wants to clinch
and Templeton counters with a lovely straight right hand!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Templeton pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Tuura gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Tuura takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tuura throws a leg kick which misses Templeton's front leg but catches the back leg as Templeton tries to avoid it.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Tuura.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Tuura wants to lay and pray for a moment but Templeton keeps working.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tuura creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Templeton sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Tuura has hold of Templeton's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Templeton seems comfortable defending it but Tuura has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Templeton is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Templeton is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Tuura couldn't care less - he's delighted!
