The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Saltzman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Saltzman lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Houk down.
Houk wants to control but Saltzman postures up.
Saltzman is chipping away with strikes.
Houk is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Check out the look on Saltzman's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Saltzman cracks Houk with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Saltzman immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Houk is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Saltzman!

Jon Saltzman decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
