Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Synephrine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Furlong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Synephrine might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hammerfall - Hearts On Fire . Furlong comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Say it Ain't So kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sam Synephrine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edward Furlong!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Furlong.
Synephrine throws a head kick that misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Furlong.
Synephrine misses with a body kick.
Sloppy strikes from Furlong. Those never looked like landing.
Horrible takedown by Furlong or perhaps it was just good defense by Synephrine which made him look bad.

Synephrine looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Furlong has picked Synephrine up and slammed him! Synephrine can't keep hold of the triangle and Furlong manages to pass to side control!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Synephrine lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Furlong has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Furlong and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Furlong closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Synephrine quickly recovers to half guard.

Synephrine is looking for a sweep. Furlong is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Furlong moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Synephrine has worked his arm free - good work by Synephrine!

Well Furlong has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
