The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Vezquez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A nice leg kick lands there from Hanson.
Vezquez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Hanson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hanson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Vezquez wants to clinch.
Hanson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vezquez. That did some damage!
Vezquez is breathing heavily.
Hanson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

A chopping leg kick lands by Hanson.

Hanson throws out a head kick that Vezquez doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Vezquez crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Vezquez's eyes and has decided to let it go on!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hanson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Vezquez takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Hanson throws a nice outside leg kick.
Hanson lands a nice hook to Vezquez's body. Vezquez takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Vezquez walks into a big right hand from Hanson and goes down! The referee sends Hanson to a neutral corner as Vezquez gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
Hanson cracks Vezquez with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Vezquez is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Vezquez is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Vezquez could not beat the count!

After winning the bout, Pauline Hanson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
