The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takashii closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Giacomucci did well to prevent Takashii getting side control.
The fighters are battling for position here. Giacomucci manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Takashii accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
