Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage slips under a jab from Davis.
Davis lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Savage walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Davis checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Savage fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Davis on the side of the head.

and Savage makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Davis really felt that one!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Randy Savage hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Savage is trying to ground and pound but Davis uses the momentary lack of control by Savage to regain half guard.

Savage throws a strike but Davis avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Savage stays in close to Davis's body and controls the position.

Davis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Savage is looking to improve his position.
Savage has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Savage flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Davis connects with a nice short shot to Savage's temple.
Savage is refusing to be controlled, as Davis sits in half guard.
